-The most interesting part of town is Montecarmelo because my family and friends live there.

What is the difference between life in the cities and life in the countryside in your country?

-In the cities there are many people and a lot of traffic. It can be very crowded and noisy. On the other hand, the countryside is very calm and peaceful. There are less people and fewer cars.

 

Would you prefer to live in your own country or in another country?

-I would prefer to live in Spain because it is my home country, and my family and friends live here. / I would prefer to live in another country so that I could experience other cultures and languages.

 

 

 

 

Can you describe some of the shops in your town?

What does your family do together?

-During the week we eat dinner and talk about school and work. On the weekend we generally go to the park and enjoy sports and a picnic.

 

 

 

 

 

Can you describe your house or flat?

-My flat/house is very big. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. We also have a terrace outside. There are many windows. It is on the 5th floor.

 

What do you think is better, living in a flat or in a house? Why?

-I think it is better to live in a house because there is much more room. Also there is more privacy from the many neighbors. / I think it is better to live in a flat because it is convenient and located inside the city. Also there is no garden to maintain.

-My school is a primary school in the north of Madrid. It is located in the neighborhood of Montecarmelo. We have six grades in primary school as well as a pre-school. There are numerous playgrounds and a large cafeteria.

-I enjoy English the most because it allows me to communicate with people all over the world. / I do not enjoy science because the lessons are not always interesting.

-I have studied English for five years. This is my sixth year.

-I find the phrasal verbs and prepositions to be very difficult.
